Before joining Helios, Michael was the CFO for Atlas HXM, which was also founded by Rick Hammell. Their earlier collaboration at Atlas HXM was pivotal in securing a $20 million series A funding round amid the COVID-19 pandemic challenges, and it set the stage for an impressive $200 million series B investment round.

His experience in financial analysis, risk management, budget forecasting, treasury and investor relationship activities will be instrumental in driving Helios’ financial performance and growth.

Before joining Helios, Michael served as the CFO for a technology-enabled outsourcing services provider based in California. During his time there, Michael led a comprehensive and strategic operational overhaul, resulting in a significant business expansion and performance improvements, boosting revenues and EBITDA by double digits. His fundraising acumen spans diverse channels, including VC/PE, stock exchanges and financial institutions. Additionally, his profound proficiency in global accounting, FP&A, tax and M&A equips him to navigate complex international challenges from a global perspective.
